Mail won’t sync — how do I diagnose?

Sync never finishes, the account row shows an error, or you need evidence for IT support.

  1. Step 1 — Read the status line

    Hover for detail; often names host, auth, or timeout errors.

  2. Step 2 — Verify connection

    From the account context menu, run Verify connection.

  3. Step 3 — Open diagnostics

    Collects deeper logs for support or your own IT.

  4. Step 4 — OAuth repair

    If Google/Microsoft tokens expired, use in-app re-login prompts when shown.
