How do I get an AI summary of the current email?

The email is long and you want a short AI-generated summary before you decide what to do.

1. Step 1 — Configure AI (once)

   Complete AI endpoint setup if you have not already.

2. Step 2 — Select the message

   Ensure the body has loaded (open the message once so text/HTML downloads).

3. Step 3 — Click “AI summary”

   In the reader toolbar, press AI summary. Wait for the progress indicator.

4. Step 4 — Read and copy

   The summary appears in a dialog or inline surface (per version). Copy text if you need it elsewhere.
