What must I configure before using AI features?

You click an AI button and the app says no endpoint is configured — what to set up first.

1. Step 1 — Open Settings

   Press Ctrl+, or choose Settings from the left rail.

2. Step 2 — Go to the AI section

   Add at least one compatible endpoint (OpenAI-compatible URL, model name, API key).

3. Step 3 — Set default

   Mark one endpoint as default so reader tools know which model to call.

4. Step 4 — Test from settings

   Use the built-in test action to verify network and credentials before returning to mail.

If nothing is configured, the app shows “No AI endpoint configured” with a shortcut to open these settings.
