How does one-click “AI reply” work?

You want the model to read the whole thread and draft a reply for you in one click.

1. Step 1 — Prerequisites

   Default AI endpoint configured; message body available.

2. Step 2 — Click the wide “AI reply” button

   The left part of the split control runs the auto draft path directly (no submenu).

3. Step 3 — Wait for generation

   The app shows a working state while the model composes a reply in context of the thread.

4. Step 4 — Review in compose

   A compose window opens with the draft inserted. Edit before send — do not send without reading.

5. Step 5 — Cross-language safety (when applicable)

   If the draft language differs a lot from your UI language, the app may show a back-translation confirmation dialog first (see next chapters).
