1. MC DVD 是什么1. What MC DVD is

MC DVD 是 Windows 上的免费媒体播放器，播放核心是 LibVLC：打开一个视频文件就能放，插进 DVD / VCD / 蓝光光盘也能直接放，不需要另外装解码包。

MC DVD is a free media player for Windows built on LibVLC. It plays a video file straight from disk, plays a DVD, VCD or Blu-ray disc you put in the drive, and needs no extra codec pack.

除了播放，主界面右侧那颗悬浮球里还有五个视频工具：转换、压缩、提取音频、转 GIF、抓取光盘。这五个属于 MC DVD Premium，播放和媒体库本身免费。

Beyond playback, the floating ball on the right edge of the window holds five video tools: convert, compress, extract audio, make a GIF, and rip a disc. Those five belong to MC DVD Premium; playback and the library are free.

免费版点悬浮球里的工具，会先弹购买窗；已购买的用户点开就直接进工具界面。

In the free version, pressing a tool in the floating ball opens the purchase window first; once purchased, the same click opens the tool directly.

3. 这份教程怎么读3. How this tutorial is organised

前 8 页是播放器和设置，任何人都用得上；第 9–11 页是那五个 Premium 工具；最后一页是格式清单和疑难解答。左侧目录可以直接跳转，每页底部也有上一页 / 下一页。

Pages 1–8 cover the player and its settings, useful to everyone. Pages 9–11 cover the five Premium tools. The last page is the format list and troubleshooting. Use the left-hand guide to jump around, or the Previous / Next buttons at the bottom of each page.

第一次启动会自动打开这个教程：The tutorial opens itself on first launch: 之后的启动会改成一个 Yes / No 的小提示，可以勾「Don't show tutorial popup again.」永久关掉。 later launches show a small Yes / No prompt instead, with a Don't show tutorial popup again. checkbox if you want it gone for good.
